ARGOS restart briefly disconnects pilots and restarts playback; independent preparation continues. Worker restart is blocked during preparation. Diagnostics contain health readings, not raw logs or account data. Whole-server reboot remains in DigitalOcean.

Download Pilot ClientThe installer includes Python and SimConnect. You need MSFS 2024 and your own installed aircraft models. Run the newer installer to update your client; existing pilot profiles are retained.

Recorded mode: the map shows all active World Traffic in the prepared recording, even without pilots. Green: pilots · purple: stale pilots · yellow: airborne traffic · orange: ground traffic · dashed rings: requested feed areas. Aircraft silhouettes point along reported headings; hover or tap for callsigns and details. Aircraft on this map are received positions, not proof of rendering in MSFS.

WORLD TRAFFIC · LIVE SOURCE
World Traffic schedule / playback · repeating daily clock and catalog.
For ADS-B Exchange, requests scale with active areas to meet the target refresh, up to your chosen rate ceiling. Existing settings keep 0.2 requests/second (one every five seconds) until changed. Faster polling consumes the saved allowance faster. The ceiling does not override provider limits, backoff or response time.
Stop the feed before changing settings. Stopping clears injected real-world aircraft; connected pilots remain online. The selection and feed on/off state survive server updates. Provider backoff and the shared request limit remain active.
Subscribe to ADSBexchange.com on RapidAPI, then save its API key here. The key stays on this server and is never sent to pilot clients. Stop the traffic feed before saving. Blank keeps the existing key. This feed uses regional queries, not a worldwide stream.
The counter includes attempted requests and persists across restarts and key changes. It does not reset monthly or track your RapidAPI billing cycle. Increase the total allowance explicitly to permit more requests. Other applications using your key are not counted; check RapidAPI for actual billing and bandwidth usage. No request is made by saving. Start the selected feed above to test.
Capture an allowed historical interval, then replay it to connected pilots at normal speed. This is a regional evaluation, not a continuous live or five-minute-delayed feed. Ground traffic is not requested. Stop other traffic sources before capture and replay. Completed captures are held in memory only and do not survive restart.
Credentials are saved privately on the server and survive updates. They are never returned to browsers, sent to pilots or written to GitHub. Use an interval your trial permits; this page cannot expand provider access. Generic altitude interpretation requires verification against your account's data documentation. Explicit baro_alt is always pressure altitude; GPS altitude is not substituted.
For altitude investigation, save a callsign before capture. Download its source trace here, then use Pilot Client Traffic → Watch selected altitude and Export altitude diagnostics to compare. Reports contain that traffic aircraft’s positions. Terrain readbacks do not change placement.
The UTC fields refer to the original recording, independently of the UTC−6 repeating World Traffic clock. Test reads until its first usable airborne position or the bounded timeout and injects nothing. Replay does not loop automatically. No credentials or capture start automatically after deployment. Aircraft matching uses the pilot client's installed library.
Stopping the gateway disconnects all pilots. Gateway on/off actions apply until the server process restarts.
PILOT & ADMINISTRATOR ACCESS
Load accounts to manage access.
| CID | Name | Access | Status |
|---|
Use your current pilot password to set a new one for your own CID. This also changes your Pilot Client login. You will be signed out, and active pilot connections must reconnect.
Pilot-only accounts can fly and view their own flights. Administrators can control the feed and manage accounts. Suspension blocks login and reconnects. Role/status changes and password resets request disconnection of observed active callsigns. Re-activation requires choosing the intended access level. Existing CIDs and flight history are retained. Passwords are never listed or included in the activity history.
Runs up to 10 selected separate connections from this server through its own gateway. Each numbered pilot always uses its assigned major airport. Reserved accounts are reused. Preparing a higher test number also reserves any missing lower numbers to preserve existing account identities. Airport reference points are test locations, not parking stands. Test flights are excluded from normal logbooks. Existing pilots remain connected. No VATSIM data is used.
The test does not change feed settings or your API allowance. Feed coverage is still limited to the selected maximum of 1–10 areas, shared with real pilots. Selected pilots outside the configured feed areas can still test connections without receiving real traffic. More covered areas use more paid API requests. Check feed diagnostics and remaining allowance.
No pilot test has run.

LIVE OPERATIONS
Last 200 actions, persisted across server restarts. Live operational activity retains the latest 150 events in memory.
WORLD TRAFFIC · REPEATING DAILY OPERATIONS
Recorded schedule and optional recorded traffic playback. Flight reservations remain a future stage. The daily clock runs continuously, even with no pilots connected. UTC−6 is fixed; the day starts at 06:00 UTC.

Uses the selected prepared recording. Starting stops live API polling; stopping playback does not restart the paid feed. The shared clock keeps running with no pilots. Recorded aircraft are delivered within 100 NM of each requested pilot location, with two-second samples. A preview may contain no traffic at your airport or the current time. Source gaps remain gaps. Existing Pilot Client and installed models are used. Stop playback before switching catalogs.
Downloads public ADSB.lol archives into a separate background process on this server. Complete preparation reads all three source UTC days for the fixed UTC−6 window and flight tails. It does not use your paid live API allowance. Receiver coverage can have gaps. Preparation does not enable aircraft playback.
Required free disk: airport 10 GiB · preview 2 GiB · complete 200 GiB (provisional). Airport mode retains a 100 NM area; it scans complete archives and can take hours. One job at a time. Closing the browser is safe. Independent preparation survives server updates; inline preparation does not. Verified source-day checkpoints allow recovery, using additional storage. Independent attempts have a seven-day limit; inline attempts have a 24-hour limit. Activation selects a schedule; start playback separately.
Import a prepared ARGOS schedule JSON, up to 250,000 flights / 64 MiB. Raw ADS-B archives need conversion first. Importing a catalog changes this schedule only; it does not change the live feed. Source and license attribution are retained. Five catalogs maximum.
The selected catalog is protected. Choose a different catalog first. Deleting a catalog retains its recording files; use Delete recording files on the retained job separately to reclaim disk space.
